Welcome
On behalf of Fluid Power Net International (FPNI), we are delighted to invite you to the 5th FPNI-PhD Symposium to be held at the Cracow University of Technology (CUT), in Krakow, Poland, on July 1st - July 5th, 2008.
The objective of the Symposium is to provide a forum for young scientists, especially PhD students from all over the world, to exchange ideas and opinions on current research and future developments in fluid power technology. We are confident that the Symposium will give all the participants an excellent opportunity to meet in an informal atmosphere at the CUT Campus and to discuss the future direction of research and education in fluid power and its competition with other technologies. All PhD students around the world doing research in fluid power technology are invited to present the results and direction of their scientific activities. In addition to providing information on worldwide research, it is also our intention to establish new contacts for broader R&D co-operation in fluid power technology and related areas.
We look forward to seeing you all in Krakow in July 2008.
Sincerely
Prof. Rudolf Scheidl
